Students involved in a Ware Lab undergraduate design project in the college of engineering may gain access to the Ware Lab. NO graduate level work can be conducted in the facility. There are two requirements that must be met before you can have access to the lab.
- Go to the On-Line Safety Quiz page on this site and follow the instructions to access the Ware Lab safety quiz in Scholar.
- Once you pass the general safety quiz with an 85/100 or higher email your Ware Lab team leader informing him or her that you are in the process of getting your badge from Hokie Passport. You do not need to email the Ware Lab Manager or Supervisor with this information.
- Go to https website given to you by your team leader and fill out the survey completely!
- Wait 24 hours and then go to Hokie Passport to receive your badge. Be sure to have your Waiver form (located at the beginning of the survey in Step 3) completed and in hand when you go to Passport.
Once these requirements are complete, student must go to the Hokie Passport office to recieve a Ware Lab badge. The first badge costs $5, but students may take their badge from the previous year to recieve a new one for free.
