Registration will open for Engineering Open House on Thursday, March 1, 2012 on this website. The 2012 Engineering Open House will be on Monday, April 2nd, 2012.

As the Commonwealth's leading engineering institution, we host an Open House every spring to share with you some of the many benefits that Virginia Tech has to offer. The 2011 Open House drew over 1500 students, parents, and teachers.
Included in the day-long Engineering Open House are presentations by engineering faculty and sessions covering information about admissions and specific engineering requirements. The departments in the College of Engineering as well as many of the campus student organizations will have displays, and Virginia Tech students are available to answer questions. Tours of engineering facilities and displays of our award-winning student design projects will also be available.
The 2011 Engineering Open House Schedule is posted below to give you an idea of the events offered for our prospective students.
Some Important Information:
-There is no cost for this event
-Registration for Lab Tours is first come, first serve & for prospective students only
-An Undergraduate Admissions Information Sessions will be available
-Campus Tours will be available through this event
-Parking for Engineering Open House will be in the Chicken Hill Parking Lot, helpers will be there starting at 7 AM to greet you and give you a Visitor parking pass & charter buses will take you to Squires Student Center.
-Lunch is not provided but we have great on and off campus dining options
-There are many local hotels in the Blacksburg area
