The Ware Lab is the focal point for undergraduate design projects in the College of Engineering. Because a large variety of student projects can be seen under one roof, it has become a popular stop for many visitors to our campus. Last year, approximately 1400 people were given tours of the lab. These visitors include K-12 student tour groups, prospective students and many corporate visitors. If you would like to schedule a tour of the lab, please contact Dewey Spangler.
The students that build the projects in the lab also showcase their designs at several events over the course of the year. The projects have been on display at College of Engineering football tailgates, the State Fair of Virginia and Virginia Tech Open House events.
