Responsibilities
Juan Folgar is a graduate assistant who is responsible for training students on equipment, supervising activities, and facilitating creative idea implementation in the new state-of-the-art design studio located in Lee Hall for the inVenTs community.
Education
Juan received his BS in industrial and systems engineering with minors in business and green engineering from Virginia Tech. He is currently pursuing his MS in the manufacturing field.
Background
Juan came to Virginia Tech from El Salvador and worked in research areas such as manufacturing and operations research.
