Engineering Undergraduate Students

Tablet PCs are only available to students to borrow for a three week period if their existing tablet PC is being serviced. For more information please visit SWAT.

Engineering Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistants

Tablet PCs are available to faculty and graduate teaching assistants if they are intended for instructional purposes in the classroom.  Loans are handled through SWAT, but must be approved by the Director of Information Technology.

• Tablet PC loans are for instructional purposes in the classroom which require the use of digital ink.
• Tablet PCs may be checked out to evaluate for possible future use or while waiting on an FDI tablet selection.
• Graduate Teaching Assistants must have a faculty member sponsor their request.

For Research and Grading you should request a transfer of a tablet pc to your department.

Request a Loaner Convertible Tablet PC or Slate 

A variety of tablets and slates are available including Fujitsu convertible tablets, Intel Core i-5 Samsung slates, and Intel Atom Dell, Fujitsu and HP slates.  If you want a slate please email SWAT and give them time to prepare your slate for you.
