Responsibilities
Walter Lee is a Graduate Assistant in the Center for the Enhancement of Engineering Diversity (CEED). Walter is responsible for coordinating and teaching the Galileo Living/Learning community seminar course and directing the Student Transition Engineering Program (STEP), a five-week orientation program for new students entering the College of Engineering.
Education
Walter received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Sociology from Clemson University in 2010. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Industrial System Engineering with a concentration in Human Factors and his Ph.D. in Engineering Education with a focus on student retention.
Background
Walter has been involved with programs geared towards the recruitment and retention of engineering students since 2008. He is dedicated to providing students with the support necessary to be successful academically. He is particularly interested in the design, development, and assessment of engineering student services and academic programs.
