Lindsey is a Public Relations Assistant in the College of Engineering Dean’s Office and assists Lynn Nystrom in planning events for the college, producing and distributing various publications, writing press releases and articles, designing publications for print and web, maintaining several databases, and facilitating mailings.
Lindsey graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design.
Lindsey comes to the College of Engineering after serving as a Marketing Specialist for SugarLoaf, the Cabinet Group, Roanoke, Va. Her duties included corporate branding; website design and maintenance; design for e-newsletters, brochures, booklets, publications, direct mail, posters, etc.; composing content for all of these various types of marketing materials; developed budgets, negotiated vendor contracts, and scheduled various types of events.
