Erin Edwards joined the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech in May of 2003 and assumed the role of Director of Development in September of 2005. He is responsible for directing the planning, implementation and executive management of the fundraising and alumni relations efforts for the College.
In 1995 Erin received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida where he also minored in American Music.
Erin served as the Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Michigan where he led the organization through a strategic growth initiative. Throughout his career, Erin has pursued a goal to facilitate the growth and education of the nation’s youth. He has been a national speaker for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and served as the Vice President of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Michigan State Association.
