The Engineering Faculty Organization

The Engineering Faculty Organization (EFO) is the principal interface between the Dean and the Faculty in the College of Engineering. The EFO's role is to facilitate the free exchange of ideas between the Dean and the College of Engineering Faculty, in as open a way as possible. The leadership in the EFO arises from the College Executive Committee, representing faculty elected from each of the departments in the college and several of the larger college based centers. The EFO sponsors at least two meetings annually of the entire faculty. In 2004, the Executive Committee has identified three thrusts for the EFO:

promotion and tenure mentoring
benefits assessments and
revising the teaching evaluation form into a more holistic and useful document.
