Engineering students can learn about study abroad on April 4

March 22, 2007

"How does the chance to win $100 sound? What about having your questions about study abroad answered by experts and other students who've done it? Do you like free food? Virginia Tech engineering students who answer "Yes" to any of these questions should attend the Panel Discussion on International Opportunities for Engineers on April 4 at 6 p.m. in Torgersen 1100.

Panelists will include students who have studied or interned in Egypt, Japan, Switzerland, France, and New Zealand. There also will be representatives from Martin Travel Agency, the University Education Abroad Office, and an engineering faculty member. After speaking, the panelists will answer any questions students have about study abroad.

The panel discussion will be followed by the Student Engineers' Abroad Council (SEAC) general membership meeting. All engineering students are invited to stay for this.

There will be food and entertainment, discussions about future plans for the SEAC, and a drawing for a $100 Door Prize sponsored by Martin Travel.
