Engineering faculty have developed programs working directly with international colleges and universities. These are well-structured, rigorous engineering exchange programs with top-quality overseas universities. It is likely that some or all credits earned in these programs will transfer back to Virginia Tech, helping you go abroad without delaying your graduation.
This program combines a semester-long course focusing on the influence of culture, leadership and engineering, both historically and in today's world, culminating with a two-week trip abroad.
Search the Education Abroad office's database for international opportunities of every variety.
The Student Engineers' Abroad Council publishes a monthly newsletter highlighting the experiences of students currently studying or working abroad. It also includes current scholarship and program opportunities, deadlines for applications, and upcoming events. Email International Programs to start receiving the newsletter.
