Homework Process

a. Homework is sent the appropriate receiving person (site directors and coordinators) using the professor cover sheet.

b.  If homework is sent electronically for duplicating they should be sent early enough for the site coordinator to have time to copy them, usually at least a week in advance.

c. Homework is returned to the professor using the appropriate cover sheet

Exam Procedure

a. If exams are sent electronically to the site directors and coordinators for duplicating they should be sent early enough for the site coordinator to have time to copy them, usually at least a week in advance.

b. Exams are to be returned directly to the professor from the site coordinator to the Faculty address on file.

c. Distance learning exams do not follow the University exam schedule. Exams should be the final day of class. If the exam is given during finals week it needs to be the normal class time and day.

d. Please notify Taikara Peek in Video Broadcast Services (tpeek@vt.edu) of what day you will be giving your exam and if you will be using your assigned video conferencing room.

e. Final exam grades cannot be e-mailed due to Ferpa regulations, they must be sent via overnight mail to the appropriate receive site.

Receive Site Closings

a. Notify students that they contact their receive site coordinator to verify their site's accessibility on holidays.

b. If the receive site is closed when VT classes are being transmitted the student should make alternative arrangements with their receive site coordinator.

Textbook Information:

Before the beginning of the semester, you will be contacted by the CGEP administrator to confirm textbooks.
