    Virginia Tech Commonwealth Graduate Engineering Program Faculty

    Kimberly P. Ellis
    Assistant Professor, Industrial & Systems Engineering

    Kimberly P. Ellis is an Assistant Professor in the Industrial & Systems Engineering department. She has taught for several years in the Commonwealth Graduate Engineering program. She received her formal undergraduate and masters education from the University of Tennessee and her PhD work is from Georgia Institute of Technology.

    Her research interest include manufacturing systems design and analysis, production planning and process planning systems, applied operations research, and information systems design.

    Her teaching interests include production planning and control, computer integrated manufacturing systems, systems engineering methodologies and information systems design.
