Virginia Tech robotics lab to be featured on PBS' "NOVA ScienceNow"

On, Wednesday, November 14, “Nova ScienceNow” on PBS will feature the robotics work of Dennis Hong and his Robotics and Mechanisms Laboratory as well as the research of Thurmon Lockhart and his walking/falling facility. 
 
The research will be part of the episode “What Will the Future Be Like”? Host David Pogue interacts and kicks a soccer ball around with CHARLI the Humanoid Robot and the DARwIn robots. He also speaks with Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineerign Dennis Hong, as well as takes a stroll on Lockhart's renowned slip simulator. Lockhart is an associate professor of Industrial Systems and Engineering.
