The mission of the buildingSMARTalliance (bSa) Virginia Tech interest group is to serve as a center for communication and collaboration between Virginia Tech and other regional, national, and international academic and professional communities dedicated to demonstrate, spread, and extend knowledge of building information technology, information interoperability, and information sustainability throughout the building lifecycle by promoting the practical implementation of advance building information technology as well as providing individual and group supports for BIM-based and buildingSMARTalliance’s projects through academic and professional workshops, conferences, and social networking activities.
